I've always hated bike-art shows.

Not only is the while concept contrived, but the work is generally pretty crappy. For no reason in particular, other than those I suppose, I've keep a fair distance from ever including the topic of bikes in any of my work. Last month Brian Vernor asked me if I wanted to participate in a group show he was organizing at San Francisco's Rapha store.

"Great" I thought. Bike art and Rapha. It was like two components in a perfect storm of douche. However, once I found out who else was to be included in the show, my guard dropped long enough to finish the piece. I was happy with the final results, as it was a slight departure from what I usually do, and the reception was a smash.

Maybe bike-art isn't such a dreadful concept after all.

Its been an age since I've posted anything here. Ironically, nearly the exact amount of time I've been my own boss after being shitcanned from Swobo Enterprises. Art making has been a fickle mistress these last two years. I was taking a break after the Invisible NYC show, as that unto itself was three years worth of effort. But as soon as I started working again, I got the axe, and had to hit the ground running with the Black Market project.

In the meantime, I've started painting again and have always been maintaining some sort of sketchbook.

The only exhibitions I have on the horizon is a piece in the Art Crank show in Las Vegas next month and the Art Crank show in San Francisco. Jesse from Invisible NYC and I have been talking about the possibility of having another show at some point, but time will tell.

Until then, art sucks, but I don't know what I'd do without it.

My new show in Minneapolis will be a feast for the eyes, ears and the mouth.

The eyes cause there will be art things to look at, the ears because there will most assuredly be profanity used in never before conceived ways, and the mouth because Minneapolisans taste like Raspberries.

Ive got product that will make the world fall to your feet.

The bottle openers are good for opening bottles, smashing bugs and attracting the opposite sex. The t-shirts on the other hand are good for wearing, wiping up spills, and repelling the opposite sex, and the stickers are suitable for application on cop cars, street signs and/or little children.
